كلام ابن عباس ﵁Sayings of Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه
Hadith 37500
٣٧٥٠٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عثمان الثقفي عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس (١): ﴿وَنَادَى أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَفِيضُوا عَلَيْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ﴾ الآية قال: ينادي الرجل (أخاه، وينادي الرجل) (٢) الرجل فيقول: إني قد احترقت فأفض عليّ من الماء قال: فيقال (٣): أجبه فيقول: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ﴾ [الأعراف: ٥٠] (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding { وَنَادَی أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّۃِ أَنْ أَفِیضُوا عَلَیْنَا مِنَ الْمَائِ }. He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man will call out to his brother, and a man will call out to another man. The man will say: I have been burnt, so pour water over me. The narrator says: It will be said to this man, "Give him a reply." He will say: Indeed, Allah has forbidden both of them to the disbelievers.
