كلام ابن عباس ﵁Sayings of Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه
Hadith 37497
٣٧٤٩٧ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن ليث عن مجاهد عن ابن عباس قال: أحب في اللَّه (وأبغض في اللَّه) (١) ووال في اللَّه وعاد في اللَّه، فإنما (تنال) (٢) ولاية بذلك، لا يجد رجل طعم الإيمان وإن كثرت صلاته وصيامه حتى يكون كذلك (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: Love for the sake of Allah. Hate for the sake of Allah. Befriend for the sake of Allah and show enmity for the sake of Allah. Because the friendship of Allah is attained through this. Even if a person's prayers and fasts become numerous, he does not taste the sweetness of faith until he becomes like this.
