Hadith 37447
٣٧٤٤٧ - حدثنا (يزيد) (١) بن هارون قال: أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن أبي عمران الجوني أن عبد اللَّه بن (عمرو) (٢) بينما هو جالس وبين لديه نار إذ شهقت فقال: والذي نفسي بيده إنها لتعوذ باللَّه من النار الكبرى، أو قال: من نار جهنم، قال: فرأى القمر حين جنح للغروب فقالوا: واللَّه إنه ليبكي الآن (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Imran that Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr was sitting and there was a fire in front of him when suddenly I began to feel suffocated. He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul! This fire also seeks refuge from Allah from the greater fire... or he said from the fire of Hell. The narrator says that then he looked at the moon as it was setting and said: By Allah! It is weeping at this moment.
