Hadith 37092
٣٧٠٩٢ - حدثنا محمد بن عبد اللَّه بن الزبير عن (عمر) (١) بن سعيد (بن) (٢) أبي حسين المكي قال: حدثني عبد اللَّه بن أبي مليكة عن عقبة بن الحارث قال: انصرف رسول اللَّه ﷺ من صلاة العصر سريعًا، فتعجب الناس من سرعته، فخرج إليهم، (فعرف الذي في وجوههم) (٣) فقال: "ذكرت تبرا في البيت عندنا فخفت أن يبيت عندنا فأمرت بقسمه" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Harith that he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once finished the Asr prayer quickly and turned away, so the people were very surprised at his haste. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the people and noticed the astonishment on their faces. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A piece (of gold or something similar) that was kept at home came to my mind, and I feared that it might remain with us overnight. Therefore, I ordered it to be distributed."
