Hadith 37080
٣٧٠٨٠ - حدثنا بن نمير قال: حدثنا هشام عن الحسن قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "العلم علمان: علم في القلب فذاك العلم النافع، وعلم على اللسان فتلك حجة اللَّه على عباده" (١).
It is narrated from Hasan that he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Knowledge is of two kinds: One kind of knowledge is that which is in the heart, and this is the beneficial knowledge. And one kind of knowledge is that which is on the tongue, so this is Allah’s proof against His servants.
