Hadith 37075
٣٧٠٧٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن (زياد) (١) بن (أبي) (٢) (مسلم) (٣) عن صالح أبي ⦗٢٦٩⦘ الخليل قال: ما رئي رسول اللَّه ﷺ ضاحكا (أو) (٤) متبسما منذ نزلت: ﴿أَفَمِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ (٥٩) وَتَضْحَكُونَ﴾ [النجم: ٥٩ - ٦٠] (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu al-Khalil Salih that he says: Since the revelation of this verse: "So do you wonder at this statement and laugh (making it a mockery)," after that, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was not seen laughing or smiling.
