Hadith 37071
٣٧٠٧١ - حدثنا وكيع عن علي بن علي بن رفاعة عن الحسن قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ في مسير له فنزل منزلا (جرزًا) (١) (مجدبا) (٢)، وأمر أصحابه فنزلوا، قال: ثم أمرهم أن يجمعوا، فجعل الرجل يجيء بالصغير إلى الصغير والكبير إلى الكبير والشيء (إلى الشيء) (٣) حتى جمعوا (سوادا) (٤) عظيما فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "هذه مثل أعمالكم يا بني آدم في الخير والشر" (٥).
It is narrated from Hasan that he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was on one of his journeys. He, peace be upon him, camped at a place that was afflicted by drought and was barren. And he, peace be upon him, ordered his companions, may Allah be pleased with them, to dismount as well. So they also dismounted. The narrator says: Then he, peace be upon him, ordered them to gather together. The narrator says: So a man began to bring the small to the small, the large to the large, and one thing to another, until a very large crowd was gathered. Then he, peace be upon him, said: O children of Adam! This is the example of your deeds in evil and in good.
