Hadith 37069
٣٧٠٦٩ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل عن عامر قال: (و) (١) ربما قال (٢): قال أصحابنا عن أبي ذر قال: (أوصاني) (٣) خليلي بسبع: حب المساكين، وأن أدنو منهم، وأن أنظر إلى من أسفل مني، ولا أنظر إلى من فوقي، وأن أصل رحمي وإن جفاني، وأن أكثر من لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللَّه، وأن أتكلم بمر الحق لا تأخذني في اللَّه لومة لائم، وأن لا أسأل الناس شيئا (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: My friend advised me regarding seven things. He advised me to love the poor and to be close to them; and that I should look at those who are below me and not look at those who are above me; and that I should maintain ties of kinship even if they are unkind to me; and that I should frequently recite "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah"; and that I should speak the bitter truth; and that in matters concerning Allah, I should not fear the blame of any blamer; and that I should not ask people for anything.
