Hadith 37061
٣٧٠٦١ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن ابن أبي عروبة عن قتادة قال: كان النبي ﷺ إذا قرأ: ﴿وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَمِنْكَ وَمِنْ نُوحٍ﴾ [الأحزاب: ٧] قال: "بدء بي في ⦗٢٦٤⦘ (الخير) (١) وكنت آخرهم في البعث" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Qatadah that he says: Whenever the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) recited { وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِیِّینَ مِیثَاقَہُمْ وَمِنْک وَمِنْ نُوحٍ }, he used to say: Through me, goodness was initiated, and in terms of Prophethood, I am the last among them.
