Hadith 36919
٣٦٩١٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي عبيدة عن أبي موسى قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (يدا) (١) اللَّه (بسطان) (٢) لمسئ الليل أن يتوب بالنهار، ولمسيء النهار أن يتوب بالليل، حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah Almighty has spread out His two hands for the sinner of the night so that he may repent during the day, and for the sinner of the day so that he may repent during the night. The door of repentance is open until the sun rises from the west.
