Hadith 36917
٣٦٩١٧ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن عاصم عن أبي عثمان عن سلمان قال: لما (أري) (١) إبراهيم ملكوت السماوات والأرض رأى عبدا على فاحشة، فدعا عليه فهلك، ثم رأى آخر فدعا عليه فهلك، ثم رأى آخر فدعا عليه فهلك، فقال اللَّه: أنزلوا عبدي لا (يهلك) (٢) عبادي (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Salman that when Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was shown the hidden (wondrous) secrets of the earth and the heavens, he saw a man committing adultery with a woman. He prayed against him, and he was destroyed. Then he saw another and prayed against him, and he too was destroyed. Then he saw a third and prayed against him, and he too was destroyed. Allah Almighty commanded: "Bring My servant down; My servants should not be destroyed."
