Hadith 3663
٣٦٦٣ - حدثنا ابن علية عن خالد عن عبد اللَّه بن الحارث قال: جلست إلى رهط من أصحاب النبي ﷺ من الأنصار فذكروا الصلاة وقالوا: لا صلاة إلا بقراءة، ولو بأم الكتاب. قال خالد: فقلت لعبد اللَّه بن الحارث: هل (تسمي) (١) أحدا منهم؟ قال: نعم، خوّات بن جبير (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Harith says that I was sitting with some Ansari companions. They mentioned prayer and said that there is no prayer without recitation, even if a person only recites Surah Al-Fatiha, but it must be done. The narrator, Hazrat Khalid, says that I asked Abdullah bin Harith, "Can you name any of them?" He replied, "Yes, Khawat bin Jubair."
