Hadith 36103
٣٦١٠٣ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن منصور عن هلال بن يساف عن ربيع بن عميلة عن حذيفة قال: اختلف رجل من أهل الكوفة ورجل من أهل الشام فتفاخرا، فقال الكوفي: نحن أصحاب يوم القادسية ويوم كذا (ويوم) (١) كذا، قال الشامي: نحن أصحاب اليرموك ويوم كذا ويوم كذا (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from Kufa and a man from Syria boasted to each other. The man from Kufa said, "We are the people of Qadisiyyah and such-and-such battles." The man from Syria said, "We are the people of Yarmouk and such-and-such battles."
