Hadith 36097
٣٦٠٩٧ - حدثنا عبيد اللَّه بن موسى قال: أخبرنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن المهلب بن أبي صفرة قال: حاصرنا مدينة (بالأهواز) (١) فافتتحناها -وقد كان ذكر صلح- فأصبنا نساء فوقعنا عليهن، فبلغ ذلك عمر فكتب إلينا خذوا (أولادكم) (٢) وردوا إليهم نساءهم، وقد كان صالح بعضهم (٣).
Hazrat Muhallab bin Abi Sufrah says that we besieged Ahwaz and then conquered it. There was talk of a peace agreement there, and we had taken some women captive and had intercourse with them. Then this news reached Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: "Take your children (from them) and return their women to them."
