Hadith 36041
٣٦٠٤١ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن جعفر عن ميمون قال: لما جاء وفد القادسية حبسهم ثلاثة أيام لم يأذن لهم، ثم أذن لهم، قال: يقولون: التقينا فهزمنا، بل اللَّه الذي هزم وفتح (١).
Hazrat Maimoon narrates that when the delegation of Qadisiyyah arrived, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) did not grant them permission to meet for three days. Then, when he permitted them, he said: "You say that we fought and we defeated the enemy, whereas it is Allah who grants victory and defeat."
