Hadith 36016
٣٦٠١٦ - حدثنا عباد عن (حصين) (١) عمن أدرك ذاك أن رجلا اشترى جارية من المغنم، قال: فلما رأت أنها قد (خلصت) (٢) له أخرجت حليا كثيرا كان معها، قال: فقال الرجل: ما أدري ما هذا، حتى أتى سعدا (فأسأله فأتاه) (٣) فسأله فقال: اجعله في غنائم المسلمين (٤).
Hazrat Husain narrates from a mujahid who participated in the Battle of Qadisiyyah that a man bought a slave girl from the spoils of war. When the slave girl saw that she now belonged to him, she took out a lot of jewelry and gave it to him. The man said that he did not know what the ruling was regarding this jewelry. Then he took it to Hazrat Sa’d and asked about it, so Hazrat Sa’d said: "Put it among the Muslims’ spoils of war."
