Hadith 35821
٣٥٨٢١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا مالك عن طلحة بن (مصرف) (١) اليامي قال: لما انهزم المسلمون يوم حنين نودوا يا أصحاب سورة البقرة، فرجعوا ولهم (خنين) (٢) -يعني بكاء (٣).
Hazrat Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the Battle of Hunain, when the Muslims retreated, they were called out as "O people of Surah Al-Baqarah!" When they returned, they were weeping.
