Hadith 35773
٣٥٧٧٣ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان عن أبي عمرة أنه سمع زيد بن خالد الجهني يحدث أن رجلًا من المسلمين توفي بخيبر وأنه ذكر لرسول اللَّه ﷺ أمره، فقال: "صلوا على صاحبكم"، فتغيرت وجوه القوم لذلك، فلما رأى ذلك قال: إنه غل في سبيل اللَّه ففتشنا متاعه فوجدنا خرزا من خرز اليهود ما يساوي درهمين (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the Muslims passed away in Khaybar. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of his death, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Offer the funeral prayer of your companion yourselves." Upon hearing this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the color of the people's faces changed. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the faces of the people, he said: "He committed treachery in the way of Allah." When we searched his belongings, we found a pearl among the pearls of the Jews, the value of which was two dirhams.
