Hadith 35772
٣٥٧٧٢ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن سالم بن أبي الجعد عن ابن عمر قال: كان على (ثقل) (١) النبي ﷺ رجل يقال له: كركرة فمات، فقال رسول ⦗٤٨٩⦘ اللَّه ﷺ: "هو في النار"، فذهبوا ينظرون فوجدوا عليه عباءة قد غلها (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that there was a man whose name was Karkarah. He passed away, so the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He is of the people of Hell." People went to look at his belongings and they found a cloak which he had taken dishonestly.
