Hadith 35553
٣٥٥٥٣ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن إسحاق عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي مرزوق مولى تجيب (١) قال: غزونا مع رويفع بن ثابت الأنصاري نحو المغرب ففتحنا قرية يقال لها جربة، فقام فينا خطيبا فقال: إني لا أقول (لكم) (٢) إلا ما سمعت (٣) رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول فينا يوم (خيبر) (٤): "من كان يؤمن باللَّه واليوم ⦗٤٣٣⦘ الآخر فلا يبيعن مغنمًا حتى يقسم" (٥).
Hazrat Abu Marzuq, may Allah have mercy on him, says that we participated in a jihad towards the west with Hazrat Ruwayfi' bin Thabit Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him. Then we conquered a place called Jarbah. Hazrat Ruwayfi', may Allah be pleased with him, stood up to deliver a sermon and said: I will say to you only what I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which the Noble Prophet ﷺ said to us on the day of Khaybar: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sell it before the distribution of the spoils.
