Hadith 35544
٣٥٥٤٤ - حدثنا عفان قال: ثنا عبد الواحد بن زياد قال: ثنا حجاج بن أرطأة قال: ثنا أبو الزبير عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: سئل كيف كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ ⦗٤٣٠⦘ يصنع بالخمس؟ قال: (كان) (١) يحمل منه في سبيل اللَّه الرجل ثم الرجل ثم الرجل (٢).
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked how the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to distribute the khums. Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) would give from it to one mujahid, then to another, then to a third.
