Hadith 35516
٣٥٥١٦ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن كهمس عن ابن سيرين قال: غزا أنس ابن مالك مع (عبيد اللَّه) (١) بن زياد قال: فأعطاه ثلاثين رأسًا من سبي الجاهلية، قال: فسأله أنس أن يجعلها من الخمس، فأبى أنس أن يقبلها (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) that Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) participated in jihad with Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Ziyad. The narrator states that Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was given thirty captives. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) inquired whether they were from the khums (one-fifth share). Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) refused to accept them.
