Hadith 35481
٣٥٤٨١ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن أبي سلمة (بن) (١) أبي حفصة عن علي بن زيد عن (يوسف) (٢) بن مهران عن ابن عباس قال: قال عمر: كل أسير كان في أيدي المشركين من المسلمين ففكاكه من بيت مال المسلمين (٣).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if any Muslim prisoner is in the custody of disbelievers, then his ransom will be paid from the Muslims’ treasury (Bait-ul-Mal).
