من نهى عن التحريق بالنارOne Who Forbids Burning with Fire
Hadith 35354
٣٥٣٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن إسحاق عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن بكير بن عبد اللَّه بن الأشج عن أبي إسحاق إبراهيم الدوسي (عن أبي هريرة الدوسي) (١) قال: بعثنا رسول اللَّه ﷺ في سرية وقال: "إن ظفرتم بفلان وفلان فأحرقوهما بالنار"، حتى إذا كان الغد بعث إلينا: "إني كنت أمرتكم بتحريق هذين الرجلين، ورأيت أنه لا ينبغي أن يعذب بالنار إلا اللَّه، فإن ظفرتم بهما فاقتلوهما" (٢).
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Dosi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent us with an army and said: If you gain victory over such and such persons, then burn those two men. When the next day came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a messenger to us saying: I had ordered you to burn those two men, but now I think that punishing with fire is not appropriate for anyone except Allah. So if you gain victory over them, then kill them both.
