Hadith 35290
٣٥٢٩٠ - حدثنا إسحاق بن سليمان الرازي عن أبي جعفر عن الربيع عن أبي العالية أن أبا بكر كان إذا بعث جيشا إلى أهل الردة قال: اجلسوا قريبًا، فإن سمعتم النداء إلى أن تطلع الشمس وإلا فأغيروا عليهم (١).
Hazrat Abu Alia (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that whenever Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sent an army towards the apostates, he would say: Sit down near the settlement; if you hear the sound of the call to prayer (adhan) by sunrise, then it is fine, otherwise attack them.
