Hadith 35248
٣٥٢٤٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن مخارق بن خليفة (١) عن طارق بن شهاب عن سلمان قال: دخل رجل الجنة في ذباب ودخل رجل النار (في ذباب) (٢)، (قال) (٣): مر رجلان على قوم قد عكفوا على صنم لهم وقالوا: لا يمر (علينا) (٤) اليوم أحد إلا قدم شيئًا، فقالوا لأحدهما: قدم شيئا، فأبى فقتل، وقالوا للآخر: قدم شيئًا، فقالوا: قدم ولو ذبابًا، فقال: (وإيش) (٥) ذباب، فقدم ذبابًا فدخل النار، فقال سلمان: فهذا دخل الجنة في ذباب، ودخل هذا النار في ذباب (٦).
Hazrat Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man entered Paradise because of a fly, and a man entered Hell because of a fly. It happened that two men passed by a people who were engaged in worshipping their idols. They said, "Today, no one will pass by us unless he offers something." So they said to one of the two, "Offer something." He refused, so he was killed. They said to the other, "Offer something." He said, "I have nothing with me." They said, "Offer something, even if it is a fly." The man thought to himself, "Should I offer only a fly?" And he offered a fly, so this person entered Hell. Upon this, Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This person entered Paradise because of a fly, and this person entered Hell because of a fly.
