Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Jami’ bin Abi Rashid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Maymun bin Mehran (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Three things are to be fulfilled for both the righteous and the wicked. Ties of kinship should be maintained, whether the person is righteous or wicked. Trusts should be returned to both the righteous and the wicked. And promises should be fulfilled to both the righteous and the wicked.
