Hadith 35033
٣٥٠٣٣ - حدثنا محمد بن مصعب قال: حدثني الأوزاعي قال: سألت الزهري عن الأسير في أرض العدو متى (تزوج) (١) امرأته فقال: لا تزوج ما علمت أنه حي.
Imam Awza'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) about a person who has been taken captive in enemy territory, that when can his wife remarry? He (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: She cannot remarry as long as it is known that he is alive.
