Hadith 34883
٣٤٨٨٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن قيس بن سكن الأسدي قال: قال عبد اللَّه: إنكم نزلتم بين فارس والنبط، فإذا اشتريتم لحما (١) فإن كان ذبيحة يهودي أو نصراني فكلوه، وإن ذبحه مجوسي فلا تأكلوه (٢).
Hazrat Qais bin Sakan al-Asadi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Surely, you people are settling among the Iranians and Nabateans. So when you buy meat from them, if it has been slaughtered by a Jew or a Christian, then eat it. And if it has been slaughtered by a Magian (Zoroastrian), then do not eat it.
