Hadith 34869
٣٤٨٦٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (حدثنا) (١) هشام عن الحسن ومحمد قالا: كان المشركون يجيئون بالسمن في ظروفهم (فيشتريه) (٢) أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ والمسلمون فيأكلونه ونحن نأكله (٣).
Hazrat Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) and Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him), both of these personalities said: The polytheists used to bring ghee in their vessels. And the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Muslims used to buy it from them. Then they would eat it, and we also used to eat it.
