Hadith 34863
٣٤٨٦٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا الحسن بن حكيم عن أمه عن أبي (برزة) (١) الأسلمي أنه كان له سكان مجوس فكانوا يهدون له في النيروز والمهرجان، فيقول لأهله: ما كان من فاكهة فاقبلوه، وما كان سوى ذلك فردوه (٢).
Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that some Magians lived near him. On the days of Nowruz and Mehregan, these people used to send us gifts. So he (may Allah have mercy on him) would say to his family: Whatever is from fruits and the like, accept it, and whatever is other than that, return it.
