Hadith 34794
٣٤٧٩٤ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن حصين عن الشعبي عن سويد بن غفلة قال: شهدنا اليرموك قال: فاستقبلنا عمر وعلينا الديباج (والحرير) (١)، فأمر فرمينا بالحجارة (٢).
Hazrat Suwaid bin Ghaflah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that we were present at the Battle of Yarmouk, and Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to receive us while we were wearing silk and jade. So, by his order, stones were thrown at us.
