Hadith 34702
٣٤٧٠٢ - حدثنا حاتم عن حميد بن صخر عن المقبري عن أبي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: " (من) (١) جاء مسجدي هذا، -قال: أبو بكر (يعني) (٢) مسجد المدينة- لم يأته إلا لخير يعلمه أو (يتعلمه) (٣) فهو بمنزلة المجاهد في سبيل اللَّه، ومن جاء لغير ذلك فهو بمنزلة الرجل ينظر إلى متاع غيره" (٤).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever comes to this mosque of mine... Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says this means the mosque of Madinah Munawwarah... and he comes only to teach something good or to learn it, then that person is in the rank of one who strives in the path of Allah. And whoever comes for any other purpose, then he is in the rank of one who looks at someone else's belongings.
