Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Zaid bin Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I was with Hazrat Muslamah bin Abdul Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, in a campaign against the Turks. Then the envoy of the Khagan king threatened him greatly and wrote him a letter: I will meet you with the powerful youths of the Turks. In reply, Hazrat Muslamah, may Allah have mercy on him, wrote him a letter: Indeed, you will meet us with the powerful ones of the Turks, and I will meet you with the powerful ones of the Arabs, that is, with the people of the tribe of Qais.
