Hadith 34538
٣٤٥٣٨ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا حميد عن أنس قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الناس دثار، والأنصار شعار، الأنصار كرشي وعيبتي، ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرءا من الأنصار" (١).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: People are to me like the outer part of a garment, and the Ansar are to me like the inner part of a garment. And the Ansar are my special confidants. If migration were not an important matter, I would have been one of the Ansar myself.
