Hadith 34537
٣٤٥٣٧ - حدثنا يحيى بن أبي (بكير) (١) قال: ثنا زهير بن محمد عن عبد اللَّه بن محمد بن عقيل عن الطفيل بن أبي عن أبيه قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "لولا الهجرة لكنت امرءا من الأنصار، ولو سلك الناس واديًا أو شعبًا (لسلكت) (٢) مع الأنصار" (٣).
Hazrat Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: If migration were not an important matter, I would have been one of the Ansar myself, and if the Ansar were to walk in any valley or mountain pass, I would walk with the Ansar.
