Hadith 34525
٣٤٥٢٥ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن إسرائيل عن سماك بن حرب عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس: ﴿كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ﴾ [آل عمران: ١١٠]، قال: الذين هاجروا مع محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة (١).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding this verse of the Qur'an (You are the best nation brought forth for the benefit of mankind): It refers to those people who migrated towards Madinah with Muhammad (ﷺ).
