ما ذكر في ابن عباس ﵄Narrations Reported Regarding Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 34396
٣٤٣٩٦ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان (عن زكريا) (١) عن عامر قال: دخل العباس على النبي ﷺ فلم ير عنده أحدا فقال له ابنه: لقد رأيت عنده رجلًا، فقال العباس: يا رسول اللَّه، زعم ابن عمك أنه رأى عندك رجلًا، فقال عبد اللَّه (٢): نعم والذي أنزل عليك الكتاب، قال: "ذاك جبريل" (٣).
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but he did not see anyone with him, although his son had told him that indeed he had seen a man with him (the Prophet). Upon this, Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Your cousin says that he saw a man with you. Then Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Yes! By Him Who revealed the Book upon you, that was Jibreel (Gabriel).
