Hadith 34365
٣٤٣٦٥ - حدثنا شبابة قال: ثنا شعبة عن عدي بن ثابت عن (البراء) (١) قال: رأيت النبي ﷺ حمل الحسن بن علي على عاتقه وقال: "اللهم إني أحبه فأحبه"، قال شعبة: فقلت لعدي: حسن؟ (قال) (٢): نعم (٣).
Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace be upon him) was carrying Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) on his shoulder. And he said: O Allah! I love him, so You also love him. Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Hazrat ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him): (Was it) Hazrat Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him)? He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: Yes!
