Hadith 34345
٣٤٣٤٥ - حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: ثنا مسعر عن سعد بن إبراهيم أن عليا وعمرو ابن العاص (أتيا) (١) قبر عبد الرحمن بن عوف فذكر أن أحدهما قال: اذهب ابن عوف فقد أدركت صفوها (وسبقت رنقها) (٢)، (وقال) (٣) الآخر: اذهب ابن عوف فقد ذهبت (ببطنتك) (٤) لم (تتخضخض) (٥) منها شيئًا (٦).
Hazrat Sa‘d bin Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat ‘Amr bin al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with him) both came to the grave of Hazrat ‘Abd al-Rahman bin ‘Awf (may Allah be pleased with him). One of them mentioned him in this way: Ibn ‘Awf has departed. Indeed, you have attained your truthfulness, and you have prevailed over falsehood and impurity. And the other said: Ibn ‘Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) has departed. Indeed, you have taken your book of deeds in such a way that you did not diminish anything from its reward.
