Hazrat Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the Battle of the Trench: "Who will go and bring me news of the Banu Qurayzah?" So Hazrat Zubair (may Allah have mercy on him) mounted and brought their news. Then he returned, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said three times: "Who will bring me their news?" Each time, Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Yes! I will bring it." Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered his parents for Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "May my mother and father be sacrificed for you." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him): "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), and he is the son of my paternal aunt."
