ما ذكر من أمر داود ﵇ وتواضعهMention of Dawud (AS) and His Humility
Hadith 34054
٣٤٠٥٤ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا (١) جعفر بن سليمان عن ثابت البناني قال: بلغنا أن داود نبي اللَّه جزأ الصلاة على بيوته على نسائه وولده، فلم (تكن تأتي) (٢) ساعة من الليل والنهار إلا وإنسان قائم من آل داود يصلي، فعمتهم هذه الآية: ﴿اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْرًا وَقَلِيلٌ مِنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ﴾ [سبأ: ١٣].
Hazrat Thabit Banani narrates that we have received the information that Allah’s Prophet Dawood (peace be upon him) distributed the prayer among the women of his household and his children, so that there was no hour of the day or night in which someone from the family of Dawood was not engaged in prayer. Thus, regarding them, this verse was revealed { اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُد شُکْرًا وَقَلِیلٌ مِنْ عِبَادِی الشَّکُورُ }.
