من قال: لا تقبل صلاة إلا بطهورNo Salah is Accepted without Wudu
Hadith 34
٣٤ - حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن عبد الملك بن عمير (عن أبي روح) (١) قال: ⦗١٥⦘ صلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ بأصحابه، فقرأ بسورة الروم، فتردد فيها، فلما انصرف قال: "إنما يلبس علينا صلاتنا قوم يحضرون الصلاة بغير طهور، من شهد الصلاة فليحسن الطهور" (٢).
Hazrat Abu Ruh narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer, and in it he recited Surah Ar-Rum, but he faltered in it. When he completed the prayer, he said: "We forget in prayer because of those people who join the prayer without ablution. When any of you wants to join the congregation, he should perform ablution properly."
