Hadith 33992
٣٣٩٩٢ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن داود عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس ﴿وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى ⦗٤٩٤⦘ إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ﴾ [البقرة: ١٢٤]، قال: لم (يبتل) (١) أحد بهذا الدين فأقامه إلا إبراهيم ﵇ (٢).
Ikrimah narrates from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) under { وَإِذَ ابْتَلَی إبْرَاہِیمَ رَبُّہُ بِکَلِمَاتٍ }, he said that there is no person who was tested in this religion and fulfilled that test except Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
