Hadith 33986
٣٣٩٨٦ - حدثنا خالد بن مخلد عن محمد بن ثابت قال: حدثني موسى مولى أبي بكرة قال: حدثني سعيد بن جبير قال: لما (رأى) (١) إبراهيم ﵇ (٢) (في المنام) (٣) ذبح إسحاق سار به مسيرة شهر في غداة واحدة حتى أتى المنحر بمنى، فلما صرف اللَّه عنه الذبح قام بكبش فذبحه، ثم رجع به مسيرة شهر في روحة واحدة طويت له الأودية والجبال.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that when Ibrahim (peace be upon him) saw in a dream the sacrifice of Ishaq (peace be upon him), he took him a distance of one month’s journey in a single day, until they reached the place of sacrifice in Mina. When Allah removed the sacrifice from them, he sacrificed a ram instead. Then, in one evening, they returned from a distance of one month’s journey; the valleys and mountains were folded up for them.
