Hadith 33974
٣٣٩٧٤ - حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن محمد بن إسحاق عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يعرض الكتاب على جبريل في كل رمضان فإذا أصبح رسول اللَّه ﷺ من الليلة التي يعرض فيها ما يعرض، أصبح وهو أجود من الريح المرسلة لا يُسأل شيئًا إلا أعطاه (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to review the Qur'an with Jibreel every Ramadan. When the morning would come after the night in which he had reviewed, he would be more generous than the swift wind, and whatever was asked of him, he would grant it.
