Hadith 33897
٣٣٨٩٧ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن (شمر) (١) قال صلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ ذات يوم فجاءت الذئاب فعوت خلفه، فلما انصرف رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: هذه الذئاب أتت (تخبركم) (٢) أن تقسموا لها من أموالكم ما يصلحها أو تخلوها فتغير عليكم قالوا: دعها (فلتغر) (٣) علينا (٤).
Shumr narrates that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying when wolves came behind him and started barking. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, he said that these wolves have come to you to inform you that you should prepare and give them something from your wealth, otherwise be prepared for them to attack you.
