Hadith 33873
٣٣٨٧٣ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير قال ثنا موسى الجهني عن الشعبي قال: سمعته يقول قال: نبي اللَّه ﷺ لجلسائه (يومًا) (١): "أيسركم أن تكونوا ثلث أهل الجنة"، قالوا: اللَّه ورسوله أعلم، قال: " (أفيسركم) (٢) أن تكونوا نصف أهل الجنة"، قالوا: اللَّه ورسوله أعلم، قال: "فإن أمتي يوم القيامة ثلثا أهل الجنة، إن الناس يوم القيامة عشرون ومائة صف، وإن أمتي من ذلك ثمانون صفًا" (٣).
Hazrat Sha’bi narrates that one day the Prophet ﷺ said to his companions, “Are you pleased that you will be one third of the people of Paradise?” The people said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Then are you pleased that you will be half of the people of Paradise?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Then my Ummah will be two thirds of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection. The people will be in one hundred and twenty rows on the Day of Resurrection, and eighty of those rows will be from my Ummah.”
