Hadith 33867
٣٣٨٦٧ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير قال: ثنا موسى بن مسلم عن عبد الرحمن ابن سابط قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ (١): "إن اللَّه (تجلى) (٢) لي في أحسن صورة فسألني فيما اختصم الملأ الأعلى؟ قال: فقلت: ربي لا علم لي به، قال: فوضع يده بين كتفي (حتى وجدت بردها بين ثديي، أو وضعهما بين ثديي حتى وجدت بردها بين كتفي) (٣) فما سألني عن شيء إلا علمته" (٤).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Sabit narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty manifested Himself to me in the best form and asked me, "What are the exalted assembly disputing about?" I replied, "O my Lord! I do not know." He says that then Allah placed His hand between my shoulders until I felt its coolness in my chest, or he said: Allah placed His hand on my chest until I felt its coolness between my shoulders, and whatever He asked me about, I came to know it.
