Hadith 33852
٣٣٨٥٢ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن سفيان بن (حسين) (١) عن الزهري عن محمد ابن جبير بن مطعم عن أبيه أن النبي ﷺ قال: "إن لي أسماء: أنا محمد، وأنا أحمد، وأنا الماحي، يمحو اللَّه بي الكفر، وأنا الحاشر، أحشر الناس على قدمي، وأنا العاقب"، قال له إنسان: ما العاقب؟ قال: "لا نبي بعده" (٢).
Hazrat Jubair bin Mut’im narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said: I have many names, I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, and I am Maahi, through whom Allah will erase disbelief, and I am Haashir, people will be resurrected at my feet, and I am ‘Aaqib. A person asked, what is the meaning of ‘Aaqib? He replied: The one after whom there is no prophet.
